Passengers with rental cars to return should follow the signposting to the designated parking area for rental cars, which is located at car park facility P3B.

A free airport bus connects the parking areas with the terminals, running every 15 minutes between the hours of 3.30 am and 1.30 am. These bus stops can be found in front of the parking facilities and at Terminal 1 on platform 9 and at Terminal 2 on platform 11.

Depending on the car park chosen, Helsinki-Vantaa Airport parking will cost from around EUR 39 week for outdoor parking, although car parks closest to the terminals will charge around EUR 59.00 per week for indoor parking.

Lomaparkki, or parking for holidaymakers, is the cheapest way of long and short-term parking at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. With one week’s parking starting at just EUR 39.00 in outdoor facilities, these car parks are ideal for motorists who require parking for up a couple of weeks. One week parking is available at P4 outdoor car park for EUR 39.00, at P5 for EUR 65.00 and P3 for EUR 57.00 indoors.

Two-week parking is also available at car park P4 and costs EUR 60.00 for outdoor parking, while P5 car park costs EUR 100.00 for two weeks and P3 charges EUR 85.00 for two weeks’ worth of indoor parking.

Car parks P1 and P2 are also available to holidaymakers. These two parking facilities are located in front of Terminal 2. Parking for disabled motorists is free of charge and is always located near escalators and exits. Car parks P2, P3 and P5 have disabled car parking spaces on all floors. Short-term parking for disabled motorists can also be found in the car parks located in front of Terminal 2, in the ground floor facilities in Terminal 2 and at the very end of the Terminal 1 building. Short-term parking in this case means a maximum period of 2 hours.

Thanks to the European EMV payment card reform it is no longer possible to pay via credit card for parking. Instead, motorists will receive a parking slip when entering the various parking zones for long and short-term parking at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. this parking slip must be retained and motorists should pay at the service center in the corridor between the two terminal buildings or pay at the yellow payment machines near the car parking areas.

Upon entering the airport compound, motorists will see the parking space status displayed on electronic display boards at the entrance road. Here motorists will see where parking spaces are available. For drivers of extra high vehicles there is the parking service desk, which will give assistance with information on where best to park (the above telephone number applies).

Motorists requiring fuel should head for the ST1 service station, which is open 24 hours a day every day of the year.

Drivers who are merely picking up or dropping off passengers can stop their car in the Pikaparkki area located just in front of the terminals.
